These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by El De Los Sombreros LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By requesting services, approving an estimate, signing a contract, or allowing work to begin, the customer (“Client,” “you”) agrees to these Terms.

1. Scope of Work
All roofing services will be performed according to the written estimate, proposal, or contract agreed upon by both parties. Any additional work not included in the original scope must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges.

2. Estimates and Pricing
• Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection.
• Hidden damage (including but not limited to rotten decking, structural issues, or code-required upgrades) may result in additional costs.
• Prices are subject to change if material costs, labor costs, or project conditions change.

3. Payments
• Payment terms will be outlined in the estimate or contract.
• Deposits may be required before work begins.
• Final payment is due immediately upon completion of work unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Late payments may be subject to fees or collection actions as allowed by law.

4. Scheduling and Delays
Work schedules are subject to weather conditions, material availability, and unforeseen circumstances. El De Los Sombreros LLC is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control.

5. Permits and Codes
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the Company will obtain required permits. All work will comply with applicable local building codes. Code upgrades not included in the original estimate may incur additional costs.

6. Property Access and Responsibility
The Client agrees to:
• Provide safe and reasonable access to the property
• Remove or protect valuables, vehicles, plants, and fragile items near the work area
El De Los Sombreros LLC is not responsible for damage to items not reasonably secured or moved away from the work zone.

7. Debris and Cleanup
We will make reasonable efforts to clean the job site after completion. However, roofing work may involve nails and debris, and complete removal of all materials cannot be guaranteed.

8. Warranties
• Workmanship warranties, if any, will be specified in writing.
• Manufacturer warranties on materials are provided by the manufacturer, not the Company.
• Warranties do not cover damage caused by weather events, improper maintenance, third-party work, or acts of God.

9. Insurance Claims
If the Client chooses to involve a insurance company, El De Los Sombreros LLC does not guarantee claim approval or coverage amounts. The Client remains responsible for all costs not covered by insurance.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, El De Los Sombreros LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the services rendered.

11. Termination
The Company reserves the right to stop work if payment terms are not met or if unsafe or inappropriate conditions exist on the property.

12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state in which the services are performed.

13. Acceptance
By approving an estimate, signing a contract, making a payment, or allowing work to begin, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
